Combat Kids - The Power is in our Hands! MAD Creative have developed a fun interactive campaign for primary schools to educate children on the importance of maintaining social distancing and regularly washing hands to combat the spread of the coronavirus in schools.
MAD Creative seek to work alongside the Department of Education and the Education Authority to develop and tailor this campaign to provide schools with the resources and materials to deliver these key messages to pupils. The campaign is designed to be flexible and adapt the messaging as the situation develops and the regulations change as we move towards a new normal. Minprint have the skills, resources and in house team to develop this campaign with the Department of Education & the Education Authority plus deliver the roll out to schools across Northern Ireland. We will develop and refine the creative campaign, produce all on & offline materials (including comic books, animations, resource packs) and manage the distribution of all assets.
The idea of ‘ Combat Kids ’ is to bring focus and reinforce these new behaviours to primary level school kids. It personifies the messaging into a character driven story that is both relatable to the situation and memorable enough for kids to retain and act on i.e. a modern ‘Tufty Club’ approach to tackle the issue of distancing and hygiene. A range of materials have been proposed to introduce the concept in a comic book style & series of animated shorts to communicate the key messaging which is reinforced throughout the school with poster packs, information points, hand washing stations and memory aids. This is just for starters and we are keen to develop further assets and materials with input and feedback from local schools.
